Vivian Coles has taken a circuitous route (via Illinois, Scotland, New York, London, and Lexington) to hook up with AT Design & Illustration as a freelance writer and copyeditor. These travels and her disparate employment experience (travel agent, manufacturing, antiquarian prints, market & design consulting, financial editor) have broadened her perspective and given her a repository to draw from in her writing. Add to this the insight gained through having lived in Britain for the past 20 years, being married to an Englishman and raising three vivacious girls.
Vivian's work as a wordsmith is inspired by the richness of the English language, an interest in other cultures and world languages, and using the written word in conjunction with clever graphic design to convey clear, cogent messages.
